Bulgaria has become one of the most preferred travel destinations for Turkish tourists who have headed to the Balkans after the COVID-19 pandemic, the regional Turkish news site Ajans Manisa reported

An increase in both Bulgarian and foreign tourists has been reported in Pamporovo, Southern Bulgaria, since the start of the ski season, Marian Belyakov, executive director of Pamporovo AD, told BTA on Wednesday. The increase in foreign holiday groups is more significant. More English, Irish, Romanians are arriving in the resort, which in recent weeks has been one of the few places in Europe with good skiing conditions amid spring temperatures in most winter destinations.
