A conference titled "Tourism. Nature. Innovation", organized by the National Tourism Board, will take place from 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Aula of the University of Forestry, the organisers said.

The event is part of an initiative marking the 20th anniversary of the National Tourism Board under the theme "The Four Keys to Sustainable Tourism - Culture, Nature, Food and Innovation". It is held under the patronage of President Iliana Iotova and with the institutional support of the Ministry of Tourism.

Participants include caretaker Tourism Minister Irena Georgieva, Deputy Economy Minister Anton Kostadinov, Deputy Agriculture Minister Nikolay Vassilev, Rector Assoc. Prof. Hristo Mihaylov, Bulgarian Industrial Association Chair Dobri Mitrev, Union of Architects in Bulgaria Chair Petar Dikov, Bulgarian Tourist Union Chair Ventsislav Venev, as well as filmmaker Boyko Boyanov and producer Ilian Dzhevelekov, alongside representatives of the tourism and academic communities.

The initiative is organized in partnership with a number of institutions and organisations, including the Bulgarian Industrial Association, Bulgarian News Agency, Bulgarian National Television and Bulgarian National Radio.

A previous conference organised by the National Tourism Board in late March focused on the link between culture, tourism and communications.
