Vasil Levski Sofia Airport is now operating normally, and flights are running on schedule, the airport's press service told BTA on Monday. On Sunday, seven arriving flights were diverted from Sofia Airport to other airports due to strong winds, and three departing flights were cancelled.

The planes that were unable to land in Sofia were diverted to Belgrade, Budapest, Varna, and Plovdiv.

The cancelled departures from Sofia were to London (Stansted), Zurich, and Frankfurt.
