The Bulgarian National Radio's (BNR) Symphony Orchestra opens its new season Wednesday night at Bulgaria Hall with a concert marking the International Day of Music, BNR said.
The programme, conducted by Konstantin Ilievsky, features works by Bulgarian composer Krassimir Taskov, the Bulgarian premiere of Guillaume Connesson’s Marimba Concerto with soloist Vassilena Serafimova, and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 “Titan.”
