The soprano said in her acceptance speech: "Art and music are powerful tools through which we can touch hearts, shift perspectives, inspire a new generation of artists and unite humanity in its pursuit of beauty, truth and justice."

The awards ceremony was hosted by Irena Gadeleva, senior music editor at BNR. Attending were President Rumen Radev's wife Desislava Radeva, BNR Director General Milen Mitev and BNR Horizont Programme Director Daniela Yakova.

The Musician of the Year Award was presented by Milen Mitev.

The Ensemble of the Year Award went to the BNR Symphony Orchestra conducted by Konstantin Ilievsky. A protest statement was read about the underfunding of BNR and the low salaries of the orchestra's musicians.
