Bulgarian Indie-rock/pop duo hug or handshake released their latest single Slowboy on March 17. In an exclusive BTA interview on the occasion, Petar Trifonov and Anton Georgiev spoke about how nowadays people "listen music with their eyes" and the visual aspect is all-important. They have taken advantage of the government support for culture but don’t believe that pouring money in artists guarantees you good art.Founded in the pre-COVID 2019, the duo quickly managed to build a following in Sofia with Anton’s silky low baritone, their catchy lyrics and the dreamy backing vocals.The musicians also talked to BTA about their new song, debuting amid pandemic and the condition of the Bulgarian music industry compared to the world market.
