site.bta AmCham Bulgaria and Its Members Raise BGN 64,000 for Charitable Causes
The American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria (AmCham) and its members raised BGN 64,000 during the traditional charity dinner on the occasion of the American Thanksgiving Day, the Chamber reported. The event took place on November 22 with the main purpose of thanking members and partners of AmCham and raising funds in support of two causes: the Ready to Succeed Scholarship programme which supports high-achieving orphans and semi-orphans (students and college students) and the Fund to Support Women Victims of Domestic Violence, which works with organizations providing shelter,as well as legal, psychological and social support, so that women and their children can start a new life.
The event hosted 200 guests, members and partners, at Sofia Tech Park for the first time since 2019 as an expression of gratitude to members and partners for the joint achievements and overall success in the past year, to honor the American family tradition and to raise funds for traditionally supported causes.
