Artist Monika Dimitrova will present her new solo exhibition Body of Colours at Sofia's Art Club Diplomat. The exhibition will open at 6:30 p.m. on May 14 and feature works built around sharp contrasts, intuitive forms and personal themes, with figure and emotion woven into a painterly narrative, the hosts said. 

In February, Dimitrova was among the participants in the second Global Canvas Art Festival, held in Dubai and recognized as one of the largest contemporary art events listed in Guinness World Records.

In September, the artist will receive the Order of Prometheus - an award recognizing contributions to contemporary art - from Thomas Maes in Monaco, the organizers added.
