The annual state budget procedure is underway, and the draft of the 2026 state budget scheme should be submitted to the National Assembly by the end of October, Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova told journalists in the National Assembly on Thursday.

“I ask for a little more patience,” Petkova said, reacting to opposition politicians’ claims that the budget bill is being delayed.

The Finance Minister was in the National Assembly for a discussion with GERB Party Leader Boyko Borissov about arrangements for the car fleet of the President’s Administration.
