Movement for Right and Freedoms - New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan Peevski argued that GERB-UDF Floor Leader Boyko Borissov is "constantly rescuing" Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), their mayors, Vazrazhdane with their MP immunities and the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms. Speaking to journalists in Parliament on Thursday he compared them to "small children" and Borissov - to their father. 

"Once again, Mr. Borissov has to save them," said Peevski regarding the waste crisis in Sofia. "What would they do without Borissov? He saves them all. They’re like little children to him, and he keeps rescuing them. They’re not fighting any mafia - they are just making a mess. The bad part is, there are no consequences for their messes, because their 'dad' Boyko always saves them. They cannot function without Borisov. If Borissov didn’t save them every day, they’d just be ordinary citizens who have to face the consequences of everything they do," argued Peevski.

"I just do not understand why Boyko Borissov keeps saving them all the time, and why they attack him, when they clearly cannot live without him. If it weren’t for Borissov, they would no even be around," the MP stated.

Peevski also commented on the bill regarding the sale of Lukoil’s assets in Bulgaria. “If such a deal takes place, we need to know who will be taking over. We must protect the people who were robbed for four years by CC-DB through the high fuel prices,” he said.  The draft legislation says that the sale of assets of the Russian oil company Lukoil in Bulgaria will be possible only after a positive opinion from the State Agency for National Security and a decision by the Council of Ministers.
