In his welcoming speech to the residents of Radnevo, Southern Bulgaria, during the town's holiday Deputy National Assembly Chair Dragomir Stoynev said that small settlements will be a main priority from now on,  to improve them, make them attractive and a good place to live. He stressed that now that the big tasks have been completed, the priority of the Bulgarian Socialist Party - United Left is to focus on the towns and villages, regardless of who the mayor is and what political affiliation they have, because Bulgarians live there.

The government remains indebted to the municipalities, especially those like Radnevo, because many things that are part of projects need to happen here, Stoynev pointed out. He congratulated the municipal leadership for organizing the celebration and noted that without support, good things cannot happen.

“Just a year ago, I was here during the campaign, and everyone wanted to make promises,” Dragomir Stoynev added, noting that the political crisis is over and things need to happen quickly. He called on residents to be patient because there are many accumulated problems. “We promised that there would be no liberalization of electricity for households, and that is a fact,” he recalled. With regard to the Maritsa Mines East complex, things are not perfect, but they have started to happen, Stoynev added.
