July 26: Sunny and even hotter. Clouds will develop in the afternoon over the mountains in Western Bulgaria and in the evening in the Northwest cumulus, with isolated thunder and showers. Moderate southeasterly wind. Highs: 38C to 43C, 39C in Sofia.

Black Sea coast: Sunny, in the afternoon with a moderate southeasterly wind. Highs: 30C to 34C. Seawater temperature: 24C to 26C. Sea waves: 1 to 2 degrees Douglas.

Mountains: Sunny, in the afternoon over the mountains in Western Bulgaria there will be cumulus clouds with isolated thunder and showers. Moderate wind from the east. Highs: 33C at 1,200 metres, 27C at 2,000 metres.

July 27: Over the northwestern regions and in the afternoon in the mountains in Southwestern Bulgaria cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will develop. Short thunder and rain showers may be expected. Predominantly sunny and hot over the rest of the country. As the wind turns from the northwest, bringing relatively cooler air, temperatures will become lower, mostly in Northern Bulgaria.
