Vazrazhdane MP Tsoncho Ganev said that the party is currently holding talks with other opposition parties for a new no-confidence motion. “I hope it will be submitted very soon,” he told reporters in parliament on Friday. Earlier in the day, the National Assembly rejected the fourth no-confidence motion against the current government.

"From now on we continue as opposition and will fight in every way to be not only a corrective to this majority, which includes [GERB-UDF Floor Leader Boyko] Borissov, [Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan] Peevski, There Is Such a People, the Bulgarian Socialist Party, but also to overthrow this Government as quickly as possible, because with new elections and a new configuration of the next government, if Vazrazhdane rules, we will do everything possible not to enter the euro area from January 1," he said.

Asked what the topic of the vote would be, Ganev said it was to be consulted among the parties that wanted to participate in it. "The topic for the vote of no confidence and everything that will be put as motives has not been determined," he added. Asked whether they would seek the support of Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria and the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms, Ganev said that this is not important as people are saying one thing but their actions in Parliament show another - support for the Government.

Ganev also commented on Friday's vote, saying that "unfortunately, it was unsuccessful": “Unfortunately not for us as a political force, but unfortunately for the Bulgarian people, because this Government has done everything possible to falsify the data and get us into the eurozone, the consequences are yet to become even more tragic. What happened today is a consequence of the fact that people and parties that declare themselves as opposition did not vote."
