GERB leader Boyko Borissov, who spoke during the General Assembly of the GERB Youth Organization here on Sunday, said that it is important to keep the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) - New Beginning "with us, because if they were to join the other side, the war would be monstrous".

Commenting on the upcoming motion of no confidence in the government, Borissov said: "If the MRF - New Beginning do not back us on Wednesday and Thursday [July 2 and 3], we will not have a government." He shared that he is more able to come to an agreement with MRF - New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski because Peevski "knows where his interests lie", unlike Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria, who want to "humiliate and hurt" GERB.

Borissov thanked the MRF - New Beginning, BSP, and There Is Such a People (TISP), as their support was essential for having Bulgaria accepted to the euro area.

The leader of GERB stated: "The whole democratic community is now keeping its fingers crossed and is happy that GERB has endured as a party during these four years, because if there was no GERB, there would be no eurozone." He described President Rumen Radev as a skilled player who was testing TISP, the leader of Bulgarian Rise Stefan Yanev, Continue the Change and Democratic Bulgaria. Borissov addressed Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov asking him whether he is aware that by doing Radev's bidding for the eurozone, Kostadinov will likely lose his voters to Radev in the future.
