A total of 55 foreign students from 22 countries are studying at the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics – Svishtov, the Foreign Relations Centre of the educational institution told BTA. The countries of origin of the students and PhD students are China, Ukraine, Moldova, Morocco, Germany, Turkiye, Russia, Greece, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Palestine, Georgia, Syria, Israel, etc. Most foreign students come from Ukraine, the Academy added.
Last year, students from Nigeria, Vietnam, Jordan and even the United States were also studying at the Svishtov Academy of Economics, Rector Marin Marinov told BTA. He added that under the Erasmus+ programme, students and PhD students from a number of countries have been taught, and that Asian universities show a particularly high interest in the Academy, especially those from South Korea, Vietnam, and Taiwan.
