A new online tool will survey the opinions of residents and guests of Vratsa, Mayor Kalin Kamenov said at a press conference on Tuesday.
The system was introduced very recently in Vratsa and has been operating for several days, Kamenov noted, adding that it is very important for the municipal administration to receive feedback from residents and guests in order to improve service at various levels. “The relationship with citizens is very important to our team, which is why we use various channels for signals and suggestions. Now we are taking another important step and providing an innovative, easy and completely anonymous way for people to rate our work,” Kamenov said.
He noted that on social networks, people who do not know often receive answers from people who do not understand, and gave as an example a number of groups in which there are attacks, insults, threats and even cynicism, which does not lead to a concrete result. "We will use this professional platform, which will really give us real feedback," the mayor emphasized.
He pointed out that at Bongiorno Vratsa, which is the next major event organized by the Vratsa Municipality, visitors will be able to give their assessments in real time.
Radoslav Raykov, who is part of the kazva.bg tool team, which partners Vratsa municipality on the project, emphasized that special green stickers are already placed in public transport vehicles, sports facilities, parks, health facilities, tourist sites, kindergartens and nurseries across Vratsa, so that people can very easily give an anonymous opinion about the specific service, site or event by scanning the QR code. After scanning the QR code, a link to an automated feedback channel opens, where no registration is required to give feedback, Raykov noted.
He added that the first ratings received were for the stadium in Vratsa, where the feedback about the conditions in the locker rooms was positive. Raykov also said that Kamenov can see what citizens have rated every day on his phone, with monthly analyses summarizing which services and facilities are rated by people. Raykov gave an example of a public transport bus that has a low rating in terms of cleanliness and the municipal administration could react immediately to solve the problem.
Raykov appealed to citizens to actively take advantage of this opportunity, because when summarizing data, quantity is important. Kazva.bg already works with the municipalities of Burgas, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Sozopol and Pernik, where similar feedback tools have already been introduced.
