On the last working day of May and on the eve of its 145th anniversary, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) will launch its new website with an intuitive interface, adaptive design, improved search and fast performance, the NSI said on Thursday.
The website will be accessible from May 30 at the same address (www.nsi.bg) with all the information available to date, which has been transferred with preserved links. The current website will continue to function for the next three months at www.old.nsi.bg
On the new website, press releases will have a new design with dynamic graphics and tables and can be downloaded in MS Excel and PDF format. There is an option to receive notifications by email when a new press release or news item is published, so that all users can receive the latest data immediately.
The distribution calendar will also be updated - it will be possible to search by date or topic, and links to all published press releases and data have been created for ease and speed of retrieval.
Banners to the NSI's information systems and products – Infostat, Monitorstat, the Digital Library, the National Register of Settlements, the Sustainable Development Goals, and others – are again located in an accessible and visible place.
When a job competition is announced at the NSI, candidates will be able to submit their documents directly from the website, as well as find the GPS coordinates of the NSI, the territorial statistical offices, and the regional statistical research departments.
The NSI website will also contain all publications issued to date, and on June 1, Children's Day, the first new publication will be annual data on children in Bulgaria for 2024.
