site.btaMinistries to Include Three Projects in Action Plan for State Concessions

The Council of Ministers adopted a decision to prepare proposals for inclusion in the Action Plan for State Concessions, the Cabinet reported on Wednesday. By June 16, each ministry must identify three significant construction or service projects for which funding is not secured in the medium-term budget estimates. For each of their proposals, ministers must assess the feasibility of the concession instrument using a methodology adopted by the Coordination Council on Concessions.

The measures are an expression of the Government's policy to make greater use of public-private partnership mechanisms under the Concessions Act.
