The National Assembly will not put up for consideration a proposal, submitted by President Rumen Radev for a referendum on the adoption of the euro, GERB wrote on Facebook on Tuesday. The post is undersigned by party leader Boyko Borissov.

On Monday, President Rumen Radev proposed to Parliament to hold a national referendum, asking "Do you agree that Bulgaria should introduce the single European currency euro in 2026?"
