On Monday, December 16, the GERB-UDF negotiating team will send out official letters to the parties that are open to talks on forming a government, and the hope is that negotiations will start as soon as possible, GERB Leader Boyko Borissov told journalists in Parliament on Friday.

“I think we will finalize a government with success,” he said, adding that invitations will be sent to Democratic Bulgaria, BSP-United Left, and There Is Such a People. Borissov has spoken to President Rumen Radev and told him GERB would need more time. Continue the Change are not invited because they refused talks, the GERB Leader explained.

The meetings will be held separately, and Borissov will take part in them, he said.
