site.btaSpace Agency to Be Established in Bulgaria

A space agency is about to be established in Bulgaria, Innovation and Growth Minister Milena Stoycheva said in Varna, on the Black Sea, Monday. She hopes the project would become a fact already this year. The project is expected to attract leading companies and educational institutions.

The Innovation and Growth Ministry is the coordinating body for space policies in Bulgaria, and will coordinate the establishment of the future agency.

Minister Stoycheva was among the guests at the opening of a new space tech laboratory at the Varna Naval University.
