Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) co-leader Kiril Petkov told reporters in Parliament there is no way GERB and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) can be allowed to have a majority in the regulators and the security services. The trust needed between partners to ensure that neither party controls them is not there, he said.
If either party predominates - in this case GERB and the MRF, this will lead to decisions against the public interest, Petkov said. He added that CC-DB expects a proposal from its power-sharing partner GERB in response to the governance memorandum proposed by CC-DB on February 20 rather than a plain rejection.
