site.btaSofia University's GATE Institute to Unveil New Building

The Big Data for Smart Society (GATE) Institute at Sofia University is opening its new high-tech building with a special event on Tuesday entitled "Up to GATE. Technology, Big Data & Beyond. Open Up for Innovation", the organizers said.

At the event, GATE researchers will unveil applied research opportunities in big data and artificial intelligence at their new home. They will present the activities of the teams in the areas they are working in - Digital Health, Future Cities, Smart Government, and how high technology and AI can be used to counter misinformation, the potential of Data Spaces, GATE as a test centre for new dual-purpose technologies within the NATO Civil-Military Innovation Acceleration Defence Authority (DIANA). 

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov will take part in the opening event.
