Meeting here on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers adopted a decision instructing the Foreign Minister to explore the possibility of Bulgaria's Embassy in Abuja joining the European Union's joint diplomatic complex in the Nigerian capital. The decision will allow the Bulgarian state to obtain full and up-to-date information on all possible construction modalities, financial parametres and space allocation in the future joint EU diplomatic complex in Abuja.

By the decision, the Council of Ministers also agrees to explore the possibility of granting the rights to a vacant undeveloped plot of land granted to the Bulgarian State in Abuja as development assistance to an Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS) Member State.
