Leader of the nationalist, pro-Russian and Eurosceptic Vazrazhdane party, Kostadin Kostadinov, said in a Facebook post: “Since the time when Ataka became the spare tire of the government of BSP and MRF, there has been no greater betrayal to the voters than what CC (Continue the Change) and Defamatory Bulgaria (Democratic Bulgaria) have committed now. Not to mention that GERB voters are also disgusted by the choice of their elected coalition partner."

"I appeal to all the honest voters of GERB and CC-DB who have been deceived (once again) by their elected representatives: you have a choice in the face of Vazrazhdane,” Kostadinov further states, adding that they never betray their principles, do not lie to their voters and do not change their views overnight. Because Vazrazhdane is everything that other parties are not, according to the party leader.

Earlier on Monday, it became clear that the National Council of Continue the Change is open to the idea of a government for 18 months, where in the first nine months the Prime Minister will be Nikolay Denkov, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel, for the next nine months the Prime Minister will be Mariya Gabriel, and Denkov - Deputy Prime Minister.

“When there is a political crisis, the solution is new elections, it is written in political science textbooks,” Kostadinov said at a news briefing in Varna. According to him, the other parties are scared of Vazrazhdane’s growth and are ready to do anything to prevent new elections. However, he added that he does not expect there to be a government because, in his words, "these people are not fools and have an instinct for political self-preservation." Kostadinov said the idea of a rotating prime minister was "the pinnacle of stupidity".
