Construction of the second multi-purpose modular patrol ship for the Bulgarian Navy is nearing completion, Bulgarian Navy Deputy Commander Flotilla Admiral Vanyo Musinski said in response to a question on Wednesday. He added that, under the contract, the first stage of its construction is due to be accepted in January next year.

“What I see at the moment with the second ship is that things are going very well and very soon we may have perhaps the most modern ships in this part of the world,” Musinski also said.

At the beginning of December last year, a ceremony with a military ritual was held for the ceremonial raising of the Bulgarian naval flag on the newly acquired multi-purpose modular patrol ship Hrabri.
