Georgi Dimov is a presidential candidate in the upcoming elections on October 25 in accordance with a decision by the Central Election Commission. He was put forward by a nomination committee alongside vice-presidential candidate Dimitar Shivikov.

Born in Ruse in 1981, Dimov graduated from St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia with degrees in archaeology and history.

Dimov's interests lie in the fields of medieval history, art, archaeology, and economics. He has presented research papers and delivered lectures at a multitude of national and international academic forums in Bulgaria and abroad.
