Boyan Stankov-Rasate is a presidential candidate in the upcoming elections on October 25 in accordance with a decision by the Central Election Commission. He was put forward by a nomination committee alongside vice-presidential candidate Yordan Manasiev.

Boyan Rasate was born in 1971 in Sofia. His interests lie in the fields of history, parachuting, and tourism. He is the leader of the "Bulgarian National Union – New Democracy."

On his website, Rasate notes that he completed his secondary education at the 7th High School, which offered an intensive German language program. After graduating from high school, he served as a tank crewman in the Bulgarian Army's 5th Tank Brigade in Kazanlak from 1989 to 1991. Upon completing his military service, he enrolled at New Bulgarian University to study Political Science.
