site.btaPresident Iotova to Visit Strasbourg

Bulgarian President Iliana Iotova will visit Strasbourg on Wednesday, her Press Secretariat said here on Tuesday.

Iotova will meet with Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset and President of the European Court of Human Rights Mattias Guyomar. Iotova will also meet with Strasbourg Mayor Catherine Trautmann.

At the European Parliament, the Bulgarian head of State will meet with its President Roberta Metsola and with Bulgarian Members of the European Parliament.

Iotova will open at the European Parliament the exhibition dedicated to the 150th death anniversary of Bulgarian freedom fighter and revolutionary Hristo Botev. The exhibition is prepared by the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies in cooperation with the Sts Cyril and Methodius National Library and the State Archives Agency. The presentation of the exhibition at the European Parliament was initiated by MEP Kristian Vigenin.
