The core concept of Kings’ Valley Medical & Spa Hotel in the Kazanlak Mineral Baths is offering a modern and structured wellness system focused not only on treatment, but also on prevention, complex management told BTA. This approach positions the region as a recognizable year-round spa destination that meets the highest standards in contemporary wellness tourism.
The hotel has a 4,000 sq. m. spa centre offering outpatient balneotherapy, preventive balneology, sports and rehabilitation treatments, and cosmetic procedures. It features four indoor and four outdoor mineral pools, and the mineral water has a well-defined physiological and balneological profile. The therapies may be effective for degenerative and inflammatory joint diseases in remission, peripheral nervous system disorders, post-traumatic and post-operative musculoskeletal conditions, and chronic nonspecific dermatitis.
The medical package includes a comprehensive health assessment and a physician-prescribed, individualized course of therapies tailored to each guest’s needs. The hotel offers a broad range of physiotherapy procedures, including mud lye therapy, radiofrequency, laser, electrotherapy and thermotherapy.
The Longevity programme, developed by the hotel’s spa manager, Veska Pishtalova, includes a medical examination, specialized tests, a personalized nutrition and detox plan, physiotherapy, fitness, massage, treatments using natural healing resources, and lectures and consultations on sleep, exercise, nutrition and stress.
The detox programme takes an interdisciplinary approach, combining hydrotherapy, exercise, thermal exposure, manual therapy and nutrition. In addition to classic massage, guests can opt for deep-tissue therapeutic massage with functional techniques, lymphatic drainage, hammam massage, halotherapy in a salt room, hydromassage baths and tangentor baths, management said. The complex also develops programmes that integrate gastronomy into the health protocol, from curated menus under the Longevity programme to detox drinks and personalized nutrition.
The hotel has a conference centre with 11 halls and an event hall, helping position the region as a destination for corporate events as well.
The complex typically attracts Bulgarian guests, but its high standards and overall concept are drawing growing interest from international visitors, the team added.
