The Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) coalition presented its candidates for members of parliament in the 20th Multi-member Constituency of Silistra, the coalition's press office reported on Tuesday. Their top-of-the-list MP candidate from Silistra is entrepreneur Bogomil Petkov, and among the others on the list are specialists in medicine, economics, and law.

The event was attended by CC-DB deputy chair Nikolay Denkov. Speaking to the residents of the Danubian town, he presented the coalition's main priorities, emphasizing that it would focus on honesty and transparency in governance. Among the leading topics, he highlighted support for young families through increased tax relief for children and the introduction of full pay during the second year of maternity leave. Attention was also given to improving education by linking funding to quality, as well as to stricter oversight in healthcare.

Denkov devoted serious attention to the judicial system, stating that without real judicial reform and the enforceability of crimes, all other measures would have limited effect. He stressed the need for legislative changes to ensure justice and an effective fight against corruption.

According to him, "Bulgaria is not a poor country, but outrageously stolen from," citing examples of misuse of public funds in various sectors.
