BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Plamen Mladenov is the top-of-the-list candidate of BSP – United Left for Montana's 12th multi-member constituency, according to a decision of the Constituency Election Commission published on its official website.

Plamen Mladenov was born in Montana. He graduated in Law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and in Journalism, the coalition press service said. He has worked as editor-in-chief of State Gazette and as a lawyer. He was part of the administrations of President Georgi Parvanov and of the National Assembly. He later developed private business. He is a former regional chair of BSP in Montana and former member of the BSP National Council.
