BTA will publish the names of the top-of-the-list candidates of every party/coalition for all constituencies for the April 19 parliamentary elections. The information about the candidates is provided by the respective political entity, the candidates themselves and other official sources.

Borislav Petkov is the top-of-the-list candidate of Morality, Unity and Honour for Smolyan's 22nd multi-member constituency, the party said here Saturday.

Petkov is 51 years old. He was born in Svishtov and lives in Plovdiv. For nearly 25 years he has been actively engaged in agriculture. He is a former chair and founder of the Association of Agricultural Land Owners.

Petkov told BTA that he has a clear long-term programme for the agriculture sector. He said that during the election campaign he will present a regional programme for the development of agriculture in Smolyan Region.
