According to a survey of the Center for Analysis and Marketing, about 68% of Bulgarian residents are expected to vote at the elections on April 19, and the National Assembly is likely to be comprised of five political formations. The data were presented by Center for Analysis and Marketing Director Yulii Pavlov during a press conference at BTA's National Press Club on Thursday.
The survey, commissioned by the Center, was conducted between February 17 and 24, 2026, among 1,010 adults.
Nearly 35% of respondents said they will vote and decided on a candidate, while just over 33% said they will vote but have not yet decided on a candidate. About 14% have not yet decided whether they will vote, and 17.5% will not vote.
According to the survey, the party of Rumen Radev (president between 2017 and 2026) will rank first with 33.7% support of the voters, GERB-UDF will gain 18.9%, Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria will gain 13.2%, MRF–New Beginning will gain 10.3%, Vazrazhdane will gain 8.1%, the Socialists left coalition will gain 3.6%, MECh will gain 3.5%, Velichie will gain 1.2%, There Is Such a People will gain 1.2%, and the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms will gain 0.5%.
Pavlov said that between 3 and 3.2 million voters will go to the polls in the upcoming elections. "We need to wait until the beginning of April, so that we can make a more accurate forecast. There is an increase of 400-500,000 voters compared to the last elections. Many of those who did not vote last time, will do now, and it will be for Rumen Radev's formation," added the director.
Nearly half of likely voters believe that a government will be formed after the elections. About 27% hold the opposite view, and just over 25% are undecided, the survey reports.
