Traffic is heavy at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint for passenger cars, according to the Border Police's website. The information on traffic at Bulgarian border checkpoints is as of 6:00 a.m. on Saturday.

The ferry platform serving the Oryahovo-Becket border crossing with Romania remains closed due to the low level of the Danube River. Drivers are advised to use alternative border crossings.

Major repairs are being carried out on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge near Ruse, which is why temporary traffic arrangements have been put in place. Traffic is flowing in one lane with a pass system, which is regulated by employees of the contractor. 

The road to Xanthi via Zlatograd is closed on Greek territory to all vehicles from August 25 to September 13, 2025 due to repair works. During this period, it is recommended to cross through Makaza.

Traffic is normal at all border crossings with the Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia.
