Turkiye reported record exports to Germany and announced that its economy is successfully undergoing a stabilization process and becoming increasingly stronger, according to the Anadolu Agency. Data published by the Turkish Exporters Assembly show that exports for August 2025 increased by 4.3% compared to the same period last year, reaching USD 178.1 billion. 

With sales in the period January-August 2025 amounting to USD 13.1 billion, Turkiye sets a record in exports to Germany. At the same time, the data shows a 9.4% increase, as exports to Germany for the same period last year amounted to USD 11.9 billion. This is also the country to which Turkiye exports the most, followed by the UK - USD 9 billion, the US - USD 8.5 billion, Italy - USD 8.2 billion, and Spain - USD 6.8 billion. 

An analysis of exports by sector shows that automobiles are Turkiye's most exported goods to Germany, USD 4.3 billion. In second place, with USD 1.9 billion, are clothing and apparel, followed by metals - USD 1 billion, electronic devices and electrical engineering - nearly USD 900 million.

Export statistics by city rank Istanbul in first place with USD 5.1 billion, Bursa is second with USD 1.7 billion, Kocaeli - USD 1.6 billion, Izmir - USD 954.3 million, and Ankara - USD 674.8 million.
