At the border with Turkiye, traffic is heavy for both passenger cars and freight vehicles entering through the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing. Traffic is also heavy for outgoing passenger cars at the Kalotina crossing on the border with Serbia, according to Border Police data as of 6 am.
At the border with Romania, major repairs are underway on the Bulgarian side of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, leading to a temporary traffic arrangement. Traffic is limited to a single lane. Traffic is normal at all other border checkpoints.
Traffic has been restored in both directions at the Stanke Lisichkovo crossing at the border with North Macedonia. Traffic is normal at the remaining border checkpoints as well.
On the Greek side of the Rudozem–Xanthi border crossing, construction work is being carried out. Greek authorities have installed signs indicating that entry by unauthorized persons is prohibited. At the Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad border crossings, only passenger cars and mini vans up to 3.5 tons are allowed to pass.
