site.btaBulgaria Extradites Suspected Narcotics Supplier to Turkiye


Six Turkish citizens wanted on an Interpol red notice and four others wanted on international arrest warrants have been extradited to Turkiye in joint law enforcement operations with the countries where they had been hiding, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya writes on his Facebook profile.
Among them is an individual arrested in Bulgaria for supplying illicit drugs and stimulants, who was on the Interpol most wanted list.
Other Turkish citizens have been deported from Poland, Germany, Georgia, Lebanon, and the Ankara-recognized Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The person arrested in Poland was wanted for child sexual abuse.
Four people were detained in Georgia on various charges. These include a person wanted with a red notice for drug trafficking, trading in and possessing illegal weapons and ammunition. Another man in Georgia was wanted for extortion and insult. A third was sought under an international warrant for intentional injury, damage to public property, insult, endangering traffic safety, and fraud. The fourth person arrested in Georgia was charged with tax evasion.
The individual arrested in Germany was also wanted for child sexual abuse.
Two people were arrested in a joint operation in the Ankara-recognized Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, one for trading and possessing illegal weapons and ammunition, and the other for residential burglary.
The individual arrested in Lebanon under an international arrest warrant was wanted as a member of an armed terrorist group.
