Traffic is heavy at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint (BCP) on the border with Türkiye for outbound passenger vehicles. Тraffic is intense for inbound passenger cars аt the Kalotina BCP on the border with Serbia,the General Directorate Border Police reported on its website. The information reflects the situation at the border checkpoints as of 6:00 AM Wednesday morning.

On the border with Romania, major repair works are being carried out on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse. A temporary traffic organization has been put in place. Traffic is limited to one lane and is regulated by employees of the contractor company. Traffic at the other border crossings is reported as normal.

Traffic is normal at all checkpoints at the border with the Republic of North Macedonia. 

At the border with Greece, construction work is being carried out on the road from the Greek side along the Rudozem–Xanthi route. Greek authorities have placed signs indicating that the area is a construction site and that entry of unauthorized persons is prohibited. At the border crossings in the Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad areas, passage is allowed only for passenger cars and minibuses weighing up to 3.5 tons.
