Traffic at the border control check points on the borders with North Macedonia, Turkiye, Serbia is normal, the General Directorate Border Police reported on Wednesday morning.
The overall reconstruction of the Stanke Lisichkovo border control check point with North Macedonia is ongoing. Due to the renovation work, traffic is being processed through a limited number of lanes.
Traffic is normal at all border crossings with Romania. The ferry platform servicing the Oryahovo-Bechet line has suspended operations indefinitely since July 2 due to low levels of the Danube.
Renovation work on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse is ongoing. Temporary traffic arrangements have been introduced. Traffic is limited to a single lane.
Construction works are taking place at the Rudozem - Xanthi route on the Greek side. Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings in the areas near Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.
