site.btaBorder Traffic Update

Traffic at Bulgarian all border checkpoints with neighbouring countries is normal, the Border Police Directorate General at the Ministry of the Interior said on Tuesday morning.
The Border Police reported that checks at the Romanian border will continue until June 30, and the requirement for a declaration of consent from an absent parent for minors remains in effect. A major renovation of the Danube Bridge at Ruse has reduced traffic to a single lane, regulated by contractor staff.
Full reconstruction is ongoing at the Stanke Lisichkovo crossing with the Republic of North Macedonia, limiting vehicle passage to a few lanes.
On the border with Greece, construction works on the Rudozem–Xanthi route have restricted entry to the construction site, while only cars and minibuses under 3.5 t are permitted at Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad border points.
Traffic at all crossings with Turkiye and Serbia is normal.
