A direct charter line between Bucharest and Plovdiv will be opened during the 2024/2025 winter season to boost tourism in the region, Pamporovo AD Executive Director Marian Belyakov said at a forum in Bulgaria's embassy in Bucharest on Thursday. The event gathered officials from Bulgaria’s Economy Ministry, representatives of the municipal administration of Bucharest, entrepreneurs and representatives of the tourism industry.
