Traffic is heavy at some of the border crossing points along Bulgaria's borders with Romania, Greece and Serbia, the General Directorate of Border Police said on Thursday morning. 

On the border with Romania, traffic is heavy for trucks at the exit of the Vidin, Oryahovo, Durankulak and Kardam border checkpoints. 

Traffic is heavy at the Kulata checkpoint on the border with Greece. Only cars and vans can pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

On the border with Serbia, traffic is heavy at the Kalotina border checkpoint at the exit for trucks. Construction works are being carried out there, which require temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganisation of the traffic of the vehicles passing through. During the holidays, travellers with passenger cars should bear in mind that the temporary traffic organisation before and in the area of the border crossing may extend crossing time.

Traffic on the borders with Turkye and North Macedonia is normal.
