Unknown individuals have covered with tape the parts of an information plate presenting Bulgaria’s flag and the information related to the funding under the Bulgarian Development Aid for a sports climbing wall in Bitola’s city park, Nezavisim.bg reported. The project was unveiled in early June. 

Remaining visible on the information plate are only the flags of North Macedonia and the EU and the text about the project’s contractor. The text covered with tape reads, “The Bulgarian Development Aid by the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry through the Bulgarian Consulate General in the Republic of North Macedonia Bitola 2022-2023”.  

The park is often vandalized, the website notes.
