Several donation campaigns have been organized in Bulgaria to support the victims of the earthquakes in Turkiye, both through social media and various institutions.
Following an appeal published on Monday by Manol Peikov, Managing Partner of Janet 45 Publishing House, over BGN 220,000 had been raised by noon on Tuesday from over 1,500 contributors, Peikov writes in a publication on his Facebook profile. Citizens can donate mattresses, new clothes, blankets, sleeping bags, disposable nappies, pads, baby food, gloves, jackets, scarves, hats; gas heaters for outdoor use, coal stoves, tents, camping chairs and tables, disposable towels for showers, first aid kits, indoor lighting - battery-operated, for tents. Peikov explicitly states not to donate used clothes as the Turkish side does not accept them.
The temporary point for material donations in Sofia is at 23 Shipka Str., McCann Agency, and in Plovdiv - 9 Stamboliiski Blvd. , Janet 45 publishing house. Donations can also be made by bank transfer.
Donation campaigns were also announced by the platforms Kauzi.BG and Gorata.BG.
Lazar Radkov, the organizer of the Caps for Future campaign, joined efforts with Kauzi.BG. As of 4pm on Tuesday, the Kauzi.BG's campaign has raised more than BGN 91 thousand for the victims of the earthquakes.
BCause Foundation also announced a fundraising campaign to support Bulgarian volunteer teams going to the aid on site. The Foundation will also channel funds to a food bank in Turkiye that supplies food and water to those in need. For the victims of the earthquakes in Syria, the Foundation will direct donations to MULHAM Gönüllüler YARDIM Dernegi (Molham Volunteering Team), a student volunteer organization that has started an emergency fund to support the victims.
Material donations can also be made within the framework of the campaign announced by the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC). Donations for Sofia will be accepted in the following days from 9am to 6pm at the Regional Office for Fire Safety and Civil Protection, as well as in the regional organizations of the BRC. All donations will be directly transported to the people in the affected areas and must meet sanitary and hygienic requirements.
The BRC has also opened a bank account to raise funds for the victims in Turkiye and Syria:

The Embassy of Turkiye in Bulgaria and the Grand Mufti's Office also indicate bank accounts where monetary donations can be made. The bank accounts and the conditions for donating goods and essential materials are published on the websites of both institutions.
Municipalities all over the country, as well as various organizations and political formations are organizing fundraising and volunteer campaigns to help the victims.
