Athens Municipality press service said here Wednesday that it launched a free online platform, which provides social services to residents.
The municipality said users can search for services by keyword or location and obtain information about initiatives and events organized by participating organizations.
The platform, intended for both residents and professionals working in the healthcare and social care sectors, currently includes 91 organizations providing services through 121 social centres and facilities. It includes organizations and institutions offering social support, healthcare and counselling services, and assistance to vulnerable groups.
The initiative is part of a broader efforts to expand access to social services and strengthen the city's social protection network. The platform complements the municipality's existing migrants and refugees services information system.
