site.btaBezmer Air Base Personnel Carries Out Over-water Flight Training in Su-25 Attack Aircraft

Flight personnel from Bezmer Air Base (Southern Bulgaria) successfully carried out flights over water in the Black Sea area on October 29–30, 2025, the Ministry of Defence press centre reported on Friday.

Crews of Su-25 attack aircraft performed tasks aimed at maintaining and improving flight training over the sea, practising low-altitude piloting techniques within a designated zone, aircraft navigation, and complex exercises involving firing at surface targets.

The flights were conducted in coordination with an AS532 AL Cougar helicopter from Krumovo Air Base (South Central Bulgaria) and with support from the Naval Base Burgas, the statement said.
