A Bulgarian-Chinese business forum will be held in Sofia on Monday at the Intercontinental Hotel, said the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), which is organizing the event.
The forum will be opened by Bulgarian Minister of Economy and Industry Peter Dilov, the Deputy Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Ling Ji, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Sofia, Dai Qingli, the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tsvetan Simeonov, and Fang Dongkui, Member of the Management Board and Secretary General of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the EU.
The programme will continue with presentations by representatives of the Bulgarian Investment Agency, National Industrial Zones EAD, and Bank of China (Europe).
Bilateral meetings between representatives of Bulgarian and Chinese companies are planned.
The organizers added that the event aims to encourage economic cooperation, create new business contacts, and open up opportunities for future investments between the two countries.
