“Unity Makes Strength! How many of you remember that this is Bulgaria’s national motto? It is time to recall it once again and realize that together we can do everything, from standing up to the Great Powers to bringing down the janissary government,” Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov wrote on Facebook on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of Bulgaria’s Unification.

Kostadinov called on “all free Bulgarians” to join the party’s protest on September 13. He also addressed supporters of Continue the Change–Democratic Bulgaria, saying that every decent and free person is welcome.

“We have had and will continue to have many political differences. But all free Bulgarians certainly want one thing – for the mafia never again to rule the state,” he stressed.
