Across the country, the wind will shift and strengthen, with showers and thunderstorms spreading from west to east in the afternoon on Friday. Possibility of hail. Highs: 28C to 31C in Western Bulgaria, up to 37C in the Upper Thracian Plain and Ludogorie, around 29C in Sofia.

The coast: Mostly sunny with temporary cloud in the afternoon. In the evening, showers and thunder are expected over the northern coast. Moderate southerly wind. Highs: 27C to 30C. Sea water temperature: 26C–27C. Sea wave height: 2-3 degrees Douglas.

The mountains: Showers and thunderstorms are expected in many areas. Hail is possible. A moderate to strong west-northwesterly wind. Highs: around 22C at 1,200 m, around 16C at 2,000 m.
